So did they have any large public events in Hollywood, hollywood? Out here in the boonies of Ventura County, it's been quieter than even usual. But, South Park is on!

2. I actually spent the evening in Thousand Oaks...

and I found out that Richard Carpenter moved his dead sister's body to that cemetery off of Lindero Canyon Road. I learned something new!

5. Well, I'm in Thousand Oaks! Just south of the 101, near Moorpark

Road. I just learned this week nthat Richard Carpenter donated $3 million dollars to the T.O.Civic Arts Plaza, performing arts center,etc. Not sure, but I think they are renaming one of the theaters there after them, because of the donation. He lives around here somewhere. We have a number of celebs around here - Mickey Rooney, Dick Van Dyke, Graham Nash, Sophia Lauren, Sylvester Stallone, Tom Sellec (the last four in Hidden Valley, just over the mountain south of my house). Never have run into any of them, but Sam Elliot use to buy his horse feed where I buy mine. Used to load it himself, too.
