I got a call today today that my Christmas tree would be delivered Monday!

How silly is that?

I ordered a table-top (pre-decorated & lighted) tree a few days ago. As it turned out, they couldn't deliver. So, some lady calls and says it will be delivered on Monday. She left a message.

Earlier in the day I had called another lady who said the same thing. She even said, "Well, you COULD use it next year.!" Yeah, right! I cancelled the order.

Is that dumb or what?

Meanwhile, I found some time today to dig out another artificial tree I have. It's pre-lighted...and, I put on the decorations. Now, I feel okay that we at least have a "tree".

Well, I guess they're trained to make the sale no matter what rather than act like real human beings. I try to avoid these companies like the plague, because inhumanity is contagious.
