In the Rich Man's Frug, there was this dancer. He was just in the ensemble, but he is one of those people you can't take your eyes off of. So I am watching and he is great and I am wondering who he is. Then he starts singing and IT'S BEN VEREEN!!!!

The very first show I ever saw on Broadway was another Fosse show, Pippin. Ben Vereen was the "Leading Player". It was one of the most electifying performances I have ever seen.

Why do the really great talents have to get older? It seems so unfair to those of you who are too young to have ever seen him.
