Favorite and least favorite men's colognes/scents...?
Assuming, of course, that you do not have an aversion or allergy to all applied scents. :)

1. I still think...
...that Lagerfeld is THE ideal scent for men. I don't have a least favorite. Yet.

2. Wow
I always felt goofy for liking that scent. I used to love it till I dated a jerk that wore it... now it reminds me of him. Bleah.

I like Cool Water and L'eau D'issey. And something by Ginvenchy... can't remember the name though.

6. I didn't like Lagerfeld the first time I smelled it.
Edited on Thu Dec-16-04 04:12 PM by skypilot
I was in high school and this guy that sat in front of me in an Algebra class wore it. However, he wore too much of it and too much Lagerfeld doesn't simply smell too strong, the smell of it just seems to alter altogether. It smells really cheap and faintly like urine. Since then, I've smelled it on several men who were wearing too much of it and it smelled the exact same way on all of them. But in the right amount it is sublimely masculine and sexy.

10. Agreed
Anything smells rancid if people marinate in it (kinda like the nice ladies who just left a box of chocolates with me ... oy!)

The guy I dated was a cowboy type, and he knew how much to put on. Oh but I forgot a really nice guy wore it too... wow... I'd forgotten he wore that.

13. I am not sure I have a fave Male cologne but
I Get sick if I smell Old Spice. I can remember being pregnant with my Boy and going out to eat with the Ex. Some older guy came in to the resturant who Marinated in Old Spice and I literally lost my lunch. However, Although rock bottom Cheap, I love the smell of Brut. My Dad marinated in it, but to this day it makes me think of him and gives me a sense of feeling safe.
