Ok, I'm bored out of my skull at work and thought I would post a picture of the Amazing Lana Cat, or She Who Will Not Be Denied. She's a little over a year old and every inch the princess.

And she knows damn well how gorgeous she is. I tried to adjust her tail so that it would show in the picture, which displeased Her Highness.

Actually considering getting another cat, I've been so thrilled with Lana. She get's along with the two dogs too (actually, she looks on them with complete contempt; Nell and Candace ignore her).

13. Is she your only cat?

I ask because I have a Siamese along with four "snif" domestic short hairs, she is the only pedigree, although she forgets that she also showed up at our doorstep hungry and abused. (We live up the street from the shelter and people just drop their animals off rather than pay the $5 fee.)

I am seriously thinking of getting another one. I'm not sure how the princess will handle another cat, though.

I'd love to breed her (haven't gotten her fixed yet) but don't know if I could handle that myself. I've bred quite a few litters of cocker spaniels with my partner, but he passed away last year. If he were still here, we would definitely be breeding her.

I had a pure white Persian several years ago with huge copper eyes and she thought she was hot stuff.

If I were to get a cat again, I would love to have a Himalayan (know that I spelled this wrong) or another Persian.
