You may, or may not, remember that my gay brother is a radiologist in Atlanta. My wife and I are big supporters of the gay and lesbian movement and we fly the rainbow flag at the mountain house in NC (where I spend 99% of my time). My brother and his partner just bought a $2.5 million house in Atlanta. They also have a $1.5 million dollar place at Grayton Beach, Florida. I say, good for the gays! They have the money now. The fundies don't.

I started posting here in September of 2001, not long after 9/11. I took nearly a year long break from DU when my wife hit the roof over "all the time I was wasting". You may not remember, but you were the first to welcome me back when I resumed posting in 2002.
