I just wanna do my job. Contractors are taking potshots at me and a co-worker.

I know! Maybe I'll put forward a proposal to have all the contractor's jobs outsourced to India.

They're trying to make me and my co-worker look bad to cover up their own incompetence.

4. Why contractors when internal employees are hired to do the job?

I'll remember the India line the next time I come across one.

Problem is, the internal employees then have to learn to do the work that the contractor does. Where I work, the contractors do the work that the internals are supposed to be paid for.
