2. weeks at a time
at the family cabin in the Boundary Waters. No phone, no road.

It's very peaceful, actually.

6. A couple years, actually.
We were on it too much, so we got rid of it.

But then we began losing friends who only emailed, and then business contacts... so we got it back.

Fricking thing is like crack, though.

12. For a week every year
for family vacation and weekends on the farm. I start missing email, then I miss the boards, then the whole family is ready for me to get my internet and Mr Gaia figures out how to connect with his cell phone for a few minutes.

13. Made a point of taking a vacation this summer
And only checking my business e-mail while we were out. That was three weeks total. To be honest, I didn't want to be on the computer at all, but being self-employed has its drawbacks.
