There are clearly some DUers tonight who didn't get everything off their chests over dinner, so this thread is offered as a public service. I'll begin.

2. I still can't believe you got your cat declawed, Mom, you used to be

against that! well, I guess I'll have to be the only strong woman in the family.

needless to say, I declined to join them for dinner. I'm vegan anyway, so don't need the needling.

3. Had dinner at the home of Republican friend and her 13 yo son

Whom I refer to as Dick Cheney Jr. He actually programmed my name in his mom's cellphone as Donna Navy Liberal, because I was in the Navy and am a Democrat. Now I don't take liberal as an insult but I know he means it as one. Little asswipe. I really don't want to see a draft at all but if there is one and he's the same way when he's 18 I swear to god I'll give the selection board his name. Luckily there was no political discussion at dinner. It was her house and that would be disrespectful and they were outnumbered by Kerry supporters anyway. It went pretty well but I still can't stand that kid.
