1. I thought that the construction worker was the only good looking one...
...at the time...now I don't see why!

Some of the guys who replaced these guys and kept the name going were pretty good looking!

5. Worse, I actually stayed at the YMCA. >
We moved to England when I was little. When I was 13, my folks let me fly back to the States to visit my old home town.

Yep, I stayed at the YMCA. A couple of the fellas struck me as weird, but not you know, not musical.

4. When they were hot, I told a high school friend they were gay and she
refused to believe me, positively refused to believe me!

And then when I went to college, all the guys in the dorm kept singing "Macho Man"

Even when you hit someone over the head with the obvious, they still don't know!

6. A buddy of mine
had all their records, and encouraged his kids (all little) to listen to their wholesomeness. At this time he was also prone to listen to Christian 'music' -- then one day he tells me aside and very quietly that someone had suggested to him that one of the guys 'might' be a little light in his loafers. I said "Next you'll be wondering about Liberace and Richard Simmons..."

He's better, now.

7. Not Liberace!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I remember when that tv movie about him came out, and sort of outed him, and a friend's aunt and her friends were all indignant that they could even suggest such a thing!!!!!!!!!!
