What's the best way to thaw frozen meat?
I've got this pork in the freezer but I want to cook a bit of it up tonight but don't want to wait because I have anxiety disorders and ADD and every other excuse I can think of...

Thanks!

And, sorry, this is not a euphemism for male frigidity!

1. In the microwave
it should have an auto-defrost setting.

On mine, (Toshiba) I use power level 4

Keep an eye on it and rotate it frequently (unless you've got one of those rotator thingies)

2. Stick it under your horse's saddle before a day long ride.
That'll tender it up for you. That's how the Huns invented beefsteak tartar.

8. ON the microwave.
The metal casing of your microwave will conduct the heat from the room into the frozen item and it will thaw hours faster than if you just leave it out to thaw. No need to turn on the microwave.
