1. Blackbird.
Playing alone usually means playing the acoustic, so Blackbird usually pops into my head.

Also, the intro to "Over the Hills and Far Away".

Or, sometimes "Fake Plastic Trees"

4. Pink Floyd: Wish you were here
I love the into to this song. Very hypnotic. I play it a lot on my acoustic. Have you ever heard "Mott the Hoople's" version of "Sweet Jane"? Great stuff.

5. Mott the Hoople's SJ
Yes, I've heard it. Wasn't it on "All the Young Dudes?" Is that the version with the spoken phrase, "a little classical music for you there, kids"? I love that line.

7. Si Bheag, Si Mhor
If I spelled that right, it's a tune by the 17th century Irish harpist and composer Turlough O'Carolan, a standard in Irish music. It's gorgeous.

The main thing I've played too much of lately is "October Song" by Robin Williamson, from the first Incredible String Band album.

Although, in a complete change of pace, I've been trying to figure out the voicings for Husker Du's "Chartered Tours" so they sound good on an acoustic guitar. (Everybody and his brother plays "Never Talking to You Again," which really was played on acoustic guitar. That's no fun!)

9. "Across the Universe"
"Pyramid Song"
The intro to "The Draize Train" (over and over and over again)
"Cold Brains" (actually, anything off of "Mutations" will work)
"Gates of Eden" (verrrrrrrry slowly)
"Everything Is Green" and "Primrose" (both by obscure but brilliant New York neo-psychadelia band the Essex Green)
"One More Cup of Coffee"
"Love Will Tear Us Apart Again" (also very slowly)
"The Gnome" (ahhh, Syd...my brother used to play this for me when I was a wee lad)

That's all I can think of now.

14. A Bunch
Slide work on any Allmans Tune. Except for slide, i don't play blues much on guitar and NEVER on piano.

Some tuned Leo Kottke stuff on acoustic.

Like XNASA, "Blackbird" on standard tuned acoustic, along with ELP's "In The Beginning".

"Surfing With The Alien" (Satriani) and "Out Of Control" (Utopia) or "Elephant Talk" (King Crimson) when i just want to go loud and crazy.

18. Malaguena
A classical guitar arrangement of the classical piece by Ernesto Lecuona. Sounds very flamencoish and closes with a blood pounding rasguedo.
