Yesterday's episode was terrible, but not as terrible as the other episodes. Or maybe it was and my medication was already sinking in. Or maybe Im just getting acclimated to the crap.

Thoughts?

3. The direct-dubbed version that Adult Swim is using sucks

There is another version that uses different vocal actors and is geared to an American audience. It is MUCH funnier, as all the obscure refrences are now from US pop culture.

No one gets the Japaneese pop culture references, and in my opinion, the monotone vocals are anoying after 5 minutes.

Give me Venture Brothers!

I have watched Adult Swim since its inception as Adult Swim. Super Milk Chan is the worst show I have ever seen on it, and that includes all the anime shows I've seen from time to time.

6. Yeah, I didn't think much

of Venture Bros. either at first, but it got better and better, and now I can't wait for Season 2.

SMC just sucks. What really sucks is that I can see the potential lurking right beneath the dialog. It looks like it can be funny, but the dub is what's killing it. If they would play an episode with the "Americanized" dub, it would be 100% funnier.

As it is, SMC is right there with "Penguins Behind Bars", "Perfect Hair Forever" and the "7211" episode of Sealab as the worst on Adult Swim.

7. The Odd Thing

I thought "Perfect Hair Forever" was pretty funny. It wasn't as repetetive as SMC. The "7211" episode of Sealab is only fun once. After that, why bother rerunning? Practical Jokes are only funny once.

I get your point though. I, however, place SMC way way waaaay below anything else I've seen on AS.

Oh, and once again, Venture Brothers rocks. I also can't wait for season 2. Will they be cloned? Will the Doc and his brother be the new Venture Brothers? Will the Monarch escape prison? WHAT?

Tom Goes to the Mayor is at least funny, IMO. Plus, the pilot had Tenacious D in it. The difficult part of it is the awful visuals that add nothing to what is being said. I don't much care for it, overall, though. But I can see how some would find it genuinely funny.

IMO, Super Milk Chan is devoid of humor. I can see someone who likes to pretend and lie to themselves about having a random sense of humor liking it, but it is just a terrible claptrap of moronic and predictable randomness. What little humor there could be is thrown out the window by the annoying dubbing and idiotic dialogue.
