11. Agreed
Blazing Saddles was Mel Brooks' masterpiece. The ending is absolutely hilarious, and the sendup of westerns is soooo good!

16. I am going to have to go with....
Probably The Holy Grail. Just so many things to quote, (Although going by that would have to include Airplane as well). I have the D.V.D of the Holy Grail and it's worth it for the Lego rendition of the Camelot scene alone.

32. Wow, a lot of personal favorites listed here!
(There's somebody else who also loves Funny Thing Happened....?)
Death to Smoochy is my newest favorite. THe original Ladykillers. An often-overlooked Woody Allen film, Bullets over Broadway. And a mid-60's comedy set in Victorian England: The Wrong Box. Peter Cook and Dudley Moore are wonderful in it.

38. I'm gonna get slammed for this..
'Dumb & Dumber' is at or neat the top of my list. I laughed until I had a bloody asthma attack in the theatre.. I was tasting blood in the back of my throat at some parts of this movie. (Of course, I was a young teenage boy back then, so who knows if I'd still love it?)

'Smoochie' is very high-up on my list.

Then there's the lesser-known Mel Brooks movie, 'To Be or Not to Be.' The part where the little dog is running alongside the plane is GREAT.. ahh..

And 'Spaceballs' will always have a special place in my gut..
(thank goodness they're making a sequel!)

51. You know what?
You may get teased mercilessly, but I'll take the teasing along with you. "Dumb & Dumber" is one of my favorite stupid movies. Yeah, it's stupid. It's worse than sophomoric - but it cracks me up every time.

After 9/11/01 when I had overloaded on news coverage, I watched "Dumb & Dumber" while sitting in bed eating cookies and popcorn. Pure escapism at its best.
