Whatever happened to Tom Turkey?
As a kid many many years ago, my mother and aunts would say how important it was to buy a "Tom turkey." What happened to the Tom turkey, never see it anymore? I guess the Tom was the older turkey; that turkey was suppose to be the most moist and tender. Younger turkeys were suppose to be dry. All I see is young so I bought a young turkey today. Do any of you remember hearing this?

Okay I bought a young Honeysuckle turkey today probably filled with all kinds of injections.... bet it will be salty. It was too late to order a fresh natural turkey. There is a real difference in taste.

If you bought a natural turkey and the brand turkey, do taste the difference or is it just me?
