Last night's episode of Lost.....
What did everyone think? I thought it was one of the best episodes yet, although I think I liked last week's focusing on Sawyer a little better.

What does everyone make of this though: Half of the episodes flashing back on the individual, pre-island lives of the castaways focus on the specific instances that bought them to be on that plane. The doctor taking home his father, the Korean couple when the wife decided not to leave, the fugitive woman. But the other ones such as Sawyer and Sayid just go into general back stories from way before the flight and don't say why they were in Australia or on that plane. Not sure if that means anything or not.

Either way, I thought it was a great episode. I'll be curious what happens with Locke and the young kid.

1. It was really good, but it created so many questions again
How did the woman survive? How did her friends/husband die (what was wrong with them that she had to shoot them)? What the hell is on that island? Why is it only a 3 hole golf course? ;)

3. I thought she said it was her husband and son?
Robert was her husband and Alex was her son? I could be wrong though.

5. First time I had watched it
I have to say that I thought it was very good. There are lots of opportunities with such a huge cast. The Iraqi (he is Iraqi right?) crossing paths with a woman he used to torture was a strange twist but that too has lots of places it can go (I think they are in love). Oh and there apparently are voices out there in the jungle.

Bears?

6. He didn't cross paths with her. It was a flashback.....
He is one of about 48 castaways on the island. Each episode has tended to alternate what is happening to them on the island with flashbacks to who they were and what they were doing prior to getting on the island.

The woman who he was talking with on the island was different from the one he knew in Iraq in the flashbacks.

In an earlier episode they were attacked by and killed a Polar Bear. Yes, a polar bear.
