Why I love DU! And a BIG thank you to two DUers!
I posted yesterday about a friend from my bipolar support group and his problems.

A DUer (Piltdown13) saw my post and referred it to her mother (Caromill), a paralegal for her stepfather. It is being looked at and they have local contacts here in Austin who might be able to help. I got off the phone with my friend a little bit ago. It was the happiest, BY FAR, I have heard him in a long time. He has been very frustrated by it all and getting very down. I love DU because we help each other out. Yes, there are lots of argumentitive posts in GD, and smart ass quips in the Lounge (guilty). But when we can, we help each other out and I love it. I love being part of the DU community.

Who else has a DU story? Moonbeam_Starlight has a great one she posted the other night. I don't have the link to share. Anyone else wanna share one?
