3. Great Picture and Great Bridge
I love seeing examples of using simple technology to it's best advantage. Modern techniques, materials, and design might be able to do as well, but using the materials that are avilable and cheap give me hope that the appreciation of "intelligent design" isn't a lost art. This type of construction is truly art.

5. Great.
There is a new Burr Truss bridge in Delaware -- I don't seem to have a picture on my web site -- with a computer-cut arch and imported fire-resistant African wood. A high-tech traditional covered bridge!
