I realized that I think like a child and I need to apologize
This election has brought my hidden personality to the front and I am not liking what I see.

Most of my decisions have been based in emotion. I go tearing off on tangents making statements aimed at other people without any regard to their beliefs or feelings. I am spoiled and when I do not get what I want, I rage onward for weeks until I am totally exhausted and have driven any acquaintances and/or support away from me. Then, I sit and think about myself even more.

So, to anyone I may have pissed off, hurt, or insulted I apologize. I really need to get out of my fat ego and stop taking this election personal by attacking groups who I preconceive as the enemy.

This is becoming a difficult lesson for me. I do not know everything. In fact, I know nothing.

For what it's worth, in humility,
Graywarrior

1. You are not alone. Rage is one of the stages of grief. Forgive yourself
and don't worry. Nothing that you or I have done holds a candle to the damage that dimson does each minute...

3. Think back,,,
Were you the one that started this? Did you do the provoking?
Are you the one that said liberals have to be tolerated?
If not, I understand you anger and believe you have every right
to remain angry.

If you are not the offender, then your anger is telling you
to protect yourself, standup for yourself.

Be careful you don't give in to being controlled !

that you donate for a few members who do not have stars if you can afford it. That's the word from Guru Droopy.

(if you're a believer, and I think ya might be):
As a pastor, I can, and do declare that your sins are forgiven.

Thanks for the reality check. Got some prayin' of my own to do...

10. Thank you all
It's good when you find out you can walk through some awarenesses that are not pretty and have speople you never met hold your hand.

I'm even nicer around my house today. People are looking at me with squinty eyes.

11. You're most welcome, graywarrior
The lounge is part comic relief; part confessional; and part support group.

It sort of sounds like you are having what I like to call a Buddha moment. That's what self awareness is in my opinion. The more you can step outside of yourself and see who you really are the further you go on the path to enlightenment.

13. Hey, we're all dealing with our grief differently.
In time, we'll all come around. Just take some time to mourn and lick our wounds. It hurts. Especially as evidence mounts that this thing was stolen. Being angry and acting as such is normal. We'll get up again, with plenty of time to fight. :)

15. Don't worry
and don't apologize. You are who you are.

I've kept my shutters closed for the past few weeks, my house is filthy and I am not proud of myself. I've been one to have an immaculate house-- no longer. My atitude lately is purely procrastination...I'll do it tomorrow. When tomorrow comes, I say I'll do it tomorrow.
