Sushi?

Got to go. Going out for Sushi and Sake tonight. Anyone have a bad incident with eating sushi? I have been consuming for years without a problem. I will check back after dinner. :beer:

5. I've never had a problem with Sushi

I think to qualify for Sushi-grade fish the fish must be frozen at least partially or they can't serve it in this country. This is to kill off any harmful organisms that might be in the fish.

At least that's what some fish-monger at Whole Foods told me one time when I tried to buy fish to make my own.

6. I have never had a problem with sushi.

I have decided what I eat and what I don't eat and after that, not to be afraid of my food anymore. I eat sushi. I don't eat raw clams and oysters. I eat rare beef.

7. My brothers' birthday a few years ago.

My bro & I ordered sushi for tho two of us. My mom was with us, but she didn't want any. When the sushi came, it was great, and we raved about it. This piqued my mom's interest, so she asked if she could try some. We said OK. With that she reached over with her fork, stabbed the wasabi, and popped it into her mouth.

Afterward she said she didn't like sushi.

8. Damn that was good

Nice too see no one has any bizarre parasitic fish story to tell. Had some premium Sake and great sushi. Toro, white toro with caviar on top, sweet shrimp love to eat the heads, sea bass, and my favorite, mackerel. Though I think mackerel is out of season, it was a little tough, too much freezing.

The Japanese are a noble people.
