Poll question: OK... the Peterson verdict poll
yeah yeah, nobody cares. But everybody talks about it.

This poll is NOT if you think he's guilty - it's what you predict the verdict will be.

1. Think he did it, but will get not guilty
Deliberation was just too short.

2. Not guilty by reason of who gives a shit.
Usually when no one gives a shit, the guy gets off so the talk shows can keep spinning about it for another six months to a year.

21. I don't know that he's not guilty
I just think there wasn't enough to convict legally, based on what I've seen. Of course none of us has seen all the evidence that the two members of the jury that haven't been stricken have seen. Seriously, this was the weirdest high profile case.

6. I do not feel that
I can beyond a reasonable doubt declare him innocent but I think there is enough reasonable doubt to receive a not guilty verdict.

7. Don't care
except for the so-called Lacey and Conner Bill which in my opinion is a stealth attack on Roe v Wade.

10. Not even a stealth attack, just an attack.
They're playing the outrage to try and open up the Supreme court ruling.

14. yeah
I did, too. I thought they'd be hung or take a very very long time.

Of course, I knew the OJ verdict would be not guilty because of the short deliberation - I just felt everybody sat down and said "did they prove it? No. Let's get lunch."

16. Quick, or not
It's quick for the two replacement jurors. Not so quick for the other ten. It's hard to say how much they really start deliberations over when told to.

I was called twice for jury duty in the very courthouse he's in. I lived in San Mateo County for 10 years.

24. It's just bullshit this crap was used to obscure election issues.
Keep the sheeple's eyes off the real problems. I hope this fuck fries, not for whacking his wife, but for helping the fascist corporate media (s)elect a monster.

18. Where's the . . .
I couldn't care less?

Seriously -- I overdosed on the Case of The Century during the LAST century. And since they have a new Case of The Century about every 6 months, the whole thing gets real pointless real fast.

If he did it -- what a slimeball, lock 'im up forever. If he didn't -- what a slimeball, despise 'im forever.

20. Not guilty.
From what I've seen, there is not enough evidence to establish guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. Granted, I am not on the jury so there might be a ton of evidence linking him to the crime.

22. Anyone else having OJ verdict flashbacks?
I don't think this is nearly on the same level publicity wise. I don't think we'll ever see anything like that again. But, sitting here watching CNN feels a lot like that day.
