This Cd does not contain any material by "The Cramps".But there is instead,alot of material on them that the group covered during thier recording careers.Apparently it is music that they liked,and due to the obscure nature of the tracks,it could be said that these are "songs the Cramps taught us".Therefore the title.In any case it's a great compilation of obscure rare and rockin 50's & 60's trash rock,and in itself is an education in the evolution of Rock & Roll .Great stuff and alot of fun to listen to.The artists and tracks are as follows.
