New Orleans Jazz Festival
Who is going or thinking about it? We are looking into the second weekend, first looks good but the second has more that we are excited about. Anyone interested can look here. http://www.nojazzfest.com/schedule/index04.html

4. I think we
should have a DU dinner meet up there, there are quite a few DUers who attend. Wouldn't that be fun?

2. Ever been to French Quarter Festival?
It is scheduled between Mardi Gras and Jazz Fest. 3 days of free music scattered around the Quarter and the waterfront, supported by food booths which are sponsored by local restaurants, etc.

Not to be missed if you have a chance to get there.

3. I have not.
In fact, my family has attended the Jazz Festival several times, I have only been there once. My family is into jazz, I am not particularly interested in it. I had more fun than I can even say. So, I doubt we could get down there for both but thanks for letting me know about it. It sounds like a great time. I love New Orleans, just adore it.

6. Highly recommend THE FRENCH QUARTER FESTIVAL
It occurs early to mid April before the Jazz Fest. Great music, great food, and right in the French Quarter. Weather is usually near perfect to perfect. Not quite as congested as the Jazz Fest and more convenient if you are staying in or near the Quarter. Come on down and let the Good times Roll.
