Poll question: How would you spend your time if you didn't HAVE to work?
Pretend for instance that you've won a massive lottery or inherited a fortune.

If retired and not needing to work, what do you do with your time?

3. I would no doubt become a vegetable
wondering why cooked meals didn't jump into my mouth and what the hell happened to the electricity. It was there just a minute ago. Me thinks me would lose me marbles.

4. That was what I was looking for.
Most people need to work to keep their sanity. If I didn't I think I would go bonkers in short order:silly:

6. Most people need some structure
to plan their lives around. Most do that through a job.

I gotta say being unemployed, it's a real challenge to plan my day, AND STICK TO IT!!!

5. Some of this, some of that
Mostly studying, travelling. When I'm home, I'd be volunteering and buying up old homes a la This Old House, refurbishing them, and reselling them.

Other than that, enjoying my nieces and nephews.

Sounds like a full life to me! B-)

8. I'd have to have a plan
I like structure with flexibility. Without structure, I have a hard time getting things done. I guess what I would do would depend on how much money I had available. I'd definitely travel.

9. Finally indulge my artistic pursuits
Sculpture photography, etc. preferably while traveling around the world.

Better then doing it now after work and on weekends (weather permitting). And much better then working to a slow death in the AZ summer.
