I need a f.cking list and I said f.cking list of things that you can't say to anyone because it's politically incorrect.

I said that the freepers would be "coming out" over the next two weeks. I stepped on someone's toes because I used the term "coming out".

Hello, rich girls in the south have "coming out" parties.

I also have been asked to "come out" and play.

So, can someone tell me what you are not suppose to say and what will get you an ass whipping if you say it because I must be having some type of a crises here with terminology.

I don't want to offend anyone. I also broke down from the election this week and I am a bit on edge but I don't accuse someone of something that they are not and I am not a damn FREEPER and that is a fighting word in my book.

He's not feeling so well. The doctor took him off the predinsone (steroids) and said that the virus will just have to run its course.

4. Being accused of being a freeper takes the cake

I had to call the crises center at my College today because I didn't feel like living but I am not suicidal. I couldn't go into two of my classes and take my midterms and I got a D and a C as a midterm grade.

I have had a real screwed up day but I am not a freeper.

Chill, dude. You're displaying tight panties. DU is not a homogeneous community-- sometimes we all give unintended offense. Usually, the best way to resolve that is to respond without rancor. "Sorry, didn't mean to offend."

Sometimes the chemistry is bad no matter what. That's what the alert and ignore buttons are for. Learn to use them. They are your friends.

One final piece of advice-- don't blame the greater community if YOU'RE having trouble fitting in. Step back and don't push as hard. Expect to learn some things before you can teach. That might not always be the case, but it's usually the best expectation.

...I'm an uber leftist-- a freeper's worst nightmare-- but I'm regularly called a freeper by one or two (okay may three or four :-) --you know who you are!) folks around here-- ironically, usually by folks who are WAY more conservative than I am. It becomes kind of a generic outcry. It helps to develop a thick skin about that sort of thing.
