1. You know, same thing happened to me.
I looked at all my kitties today, and they are so ignorant to how unsettled the country is, and how unsettled I am. They just came to me for their dinner and to coodle up for some love. :) It was probably the only happiness I had today.

14. Same here!
Last night, she thought I was mad at her, because I kept yelling, "No! No!"

I kept telling her she was a good dog, that it was not her fault we live in a fascist country.

She has been very attentive all day.

5. Hi, LynneSin,
My cat has been snuggling all day, and today was cold & rainy, so in tune with my feelings.

6. Purr purr
Miss Freeway Tuxedo has owned me for 17 years and knows when I'm down and need warm fuzzies. She helps me sleep at night - like last night.

7. Then......
it realizes Bush won and it claws your crotch tearing flesh from bone spewing blood and tissue onto the walls as you gasp....
Sorry, the Bush thing has caused negative mental images. Pet fluffy for me.

9. Snuggling Cats
I was just thinking the same thing last night as I watched the returns come in. One of my cats jumped on my lap insiting on being scratched. After a while I realized I was calmer. I thought no wonder they say it is so good for the elderly to have a pet. It was really comforting. They (the cats)seem to know when you need comfort!

and then I see your message.

A Purring cat -- is the very best therapy.

And earlier I wore the kitten out with a long feather.

12. My cat just came home this very minute.
He's been missing for about a week. I had almost given up. Evidently, he got himself locked in a neighbor's garage.

Today just turned into a good day.

13. Kitties are good for licking your tears
My Phoenix was licking my tears. Dietrich was sleeping on my lap
dreaming that he was running (hes disabled) and Silas was at my
feet. My feline support system reporting for duty.
