My salvation, My Dogs.
Thought I would share with you some pics of my doggies. They are truly my salvation in times such as these. There is no avoiding the love of a dog when the going gets rough.

This is Dante, who we rescued from horrid conditions about 8 moonths ago. He had been locked in a barn for 2 weeks w/o food or water. He is a senior dog, the kind I love most. Now he is living the good life!

Here is Aphrodite trying to make Dante feel welcome by sharing a *small* corner of her couch.

And, of course, the Queen!

I can't wait to get home and be with them.

1. They are great. Dog pictures are a bright spot of an otherwise lame day.

3. My dogs do that for me
as well and I think everyone here agrees that our pets do offer us hope. Thanks for sharing. These days are hard. Occasional bursts of joy are needed. Such cute doggies and so lucky to have you.

4. Sorry I don't have my dogs' pics to put up, but they are hanging in there
with me. Have been by my side since yesterday evening when things were looking good, and still hanging in now that I've been crying for hours and hours. They keep jumping up and licking my tears away and even the cats have rallied round with more kitty kisses than usual. I am only supporting animal charities from now on, where at least I can be certain that my money will help the truly innocent.

5. my dog, who usually sleeps by the front door
cuddled up to me all night. He knew I was upset and he licked my face when I was crying.

6. Beautiful!
What breeds? They look mastiff-y. Man, my dogs knew last night and this morning that daddy was not a happy camper. My big dane is getting EXTRA hugs tonight.

7. Yes, dogs are incredible at sensing our feelings.
They are Neapolitan Mastiffs. Neos are the most amazing breed I have ever had the pleasure of living with. Slobbery loving gentle giants. Perfect for snuggling.

We also have....

Cloey Bean! She is a border collie mix. Here she is with Sampson, the top orange cat.

Sampson is sassy. He likes to ride my ass!!

We also have 2 new kittens and a dozen chickens. They just started laying eggs last week.

8. Thank you for posting these
My doggies are gone now and I miss them terribly. They really are the best when it comes to love and support. I have a wonderful cat and he is pretty intuitive when it comes to my moods but the dogs were always the best. I can't have a dog where I live so I am vicariously cybersnuggling yours.
