Jack Black - Like Meatloaf, only funny on purpose

Anyone else watching the Conan 10th Anniversary Special? This thing is Exhibits A-Z in the case against Leno being on at 9:30. Honestly, why is that unfunny big chinned putz in the money slot when Conan is about googleplex times funnier? Sure, he'd utterly demolish Letterman in the ratings, but that's a small price to pay for me not having to stay up late or watch reruns on Comedy Central.

Anyway, Jack Black is a funny, funny man. I'd like to see a movie with him and Ferrell.

And by the way, if I want to think those who bash Leno are living in some tiny-minded little world on par with the thinking witch hunters, I may do that too.

its got nothing to do with defending Leno. It's got nothing at all to do with Bush and how you'd come up with that dubious strain of logic is beyond boggling. It's purely about the inappropriateness of posting what appears to be a praise of Jack Black and instead filling it with hatred of Jay Leno.

Responsible, intelligently applied posting habits would require that if you want to bash Leno, -say so in the title. So people who don't want to participate can stay the heck out of the thread. And people who want to jump on the hysteria-driven bandwagon can follow suit.

To do otherwise is baiting for a flame war.

I'm out of this now. I refuse to give the four of you (at the time of this posting) what you so obviously want. Instead I shall adjust my opinion of your reasoning faculties in a downward direction.

The Hubble Space Telescope was named after astronomer Edwin Powell Hubble (1889–1953), who made some of the most important discoveries in modern astronomy. As an astronomer, Dr. Hubble was a late bloomer. Before discovering his passion for the stars, Dr. Hubble earned a law degree and served in World War I. The realization that the Milky Way is only one of many galaxies forever changed the way astronomers viewed our place in the universe.

But perhaps his greatest discovery came in 1929, when Dr. Hubble determined that the farther a galaxy is from Earth, the faster it appears to move away. This notion of an "expanding" universe formed the basis of the Big Bang theory, which states that the universe began with an intense burst of energy at a single moment in time—and has been expanding ever since.
