Lucky me! I adopted a pregnant dog!
It could be worse. My neighbors house burned down three weeks ago (rental), and they moved out leaving 6 dogs. The landlord of the house that burned came up today and said he found homes for the four younger dogs, asked if I would take the two adults. I said ok, then he tells me I am gonna have pups in a month! After the pups arrive, I will take her down to the vet for fixing. I hope its a small litter!

3. They love everybody
Although they can seem like a slobbering nuisance, nothing spreads love more willingly than a young pup.

4. Well... not right after. They'll have you wait until her
system is stable.

Might be smart to start looking for homes for those pups somewhat early.

6. Where do you live?
I think my brother would be in the market for an amiable mutt, if its not too large.

7. Im in Tennessee
They are small dogs, the daddy is a beagle mix and the mamma is a sooner (sooner one breed as another). I have both parents now, but this IS the last litter! They are really sweet dogs and they rarely bark at all.
