Here's a site that will flip your lid
I was looking at personal bankruptcy web pages, and came across this strange site:

http://www.thevoicenews.com/News/2002/0816/Features/F02...

Just how can anybody expect us to have a healthy economy when the United States has a trade deficit of over $30 billion per month? For the past twelve years, our negative balance of trade in goods and services has been increasing; the last year in which the downward acceleration was briefly turned around was around 1990-91. The Clinton administration boasted about our smoke and mirrors illusion of good economy with trade deficits of over $32 billion per month. The dogma of "We are a service economy" is stupid, as it attempts to hide the fact that as a nation we produce nothing that any other country wantswith the possible exception of Microsoft products (well, there are a few others, but not nearly enough). Is there any hope in sight?

Is this Clinton bashing and Bush-I supporting justified? A $30 billion deficit per month doesn't sound good and Bushbastard* certainly isn't helping...

1. Well, perhaps a little
I'm not too sure that we do produce a whole lot anymore, other than tasty (albeit, unhealty) snackies and questionably fun entertainment, oh and war...i did forget about war. And that is a shame. although, i am not sure that you can blame any one president, as much as you could blame the houses of congress that were operating under them for passing the laws that take manufacturing jobs and the "stuff to tax" offshore, or out of the country...
