3. Lemme Help you out Gothic.....
crack that whip
give the past the slip
step on a crack
break your momma's back
when a problem comes along
you must whip it
before the cream sits out too long
you must whip it
when something's going wrong
you must whip it

now whip it
into shape
shape it up
get straight
go forward
move ahead
try to detect it
it's not too late
to whip it
whip it good

when a good time turns around
you must whip it
you will never live it down
unless you whip it
no one gets away
until they whip it

i say whip it
whip it good
i say whip it
whip it good

crack that whip
give the past the slip
step on a crack
break your momma's back
when a problem comes along
you must whip it
before the cream sits out too long
you must whip it
when something's going wrong
you must whip it

now whip it
into shape
shape it up
get straight
go forward
move ahead
try to detect it
it's not too late
to whip it
into shape
shape it up
get straight
go forward
move ahead
try to detect it
it's not too late
to whip it
whip it good

4. That song always reminds me of
this song. I think I saw the two at Radio City way back when I was young and dinosaurs roamed the earth...

With the heartbreak open
So much you can't hide
Put on a little makeup, makeup
Make sure they get your good side, good side

If the words unspoken
Get stuck in your throat
Send a treasure token, token
Write it on a pound note, pound note

Goody two, goody two
Goody, goody two shoes
Goody two, goody two
Goody, goody two shoes
Don't drink, don't smoke
What do you do
Don't drink, don't smoke
What do you do
Subtle innuends follow
There must be something inside

We don't follow fashion
That would be a joke
You know we're going to set them, set them
So everyone can take note, take note

When they saw you kneeling
Crying words that you mean
Opening their eyeballs, eyeballs
Pretending that you're Al Green, Al Green

Goody two, goody two
Goody, goody two shoes
Goody two, goody two
Goody, goody two shoes
Don't drink, don't smoke
What do you do
Don't drink, don't smoke
What do you do
Subtle innuends follow
There must be something inside

No one's gonna tell me
What's wrong or what's right
Or tell me who to eat with, sleep with
Or that I've won the big fight, big fight

Look out or they'll tell you
You're a Superstar
Two weeks and you're an all time legend
I think the games have gone much too far

If the words unspoken
Get stuck in your throat
Send a treasure token, token
Write it on a pound note, pound note

Don't drink, don't smoke
What do you do
Don't drink, don't smoke
What do you do
Subtle innuends follow
Must be something inside

Don't drink, don't smoke
What do you do
Don't drink, don't smoke
What do you do
Subtle innuends follow
Must be something inside

9. Sadly I did too...
But I think I was more in Grade School when He popped onto the scene with "Stand and Deliver" In fact, on Halloween in like 83, My Husband went trick or treating as Adam Ant.... Here is some Info on the Guy... http://www.adam-ant.net/biography.html#Birth It isn't a bad site, it really plays up on the Fetish thing he has going on.

7. I love the song
Edited on Mon Nov-01-04 07:13 PM by mlle_chatte
then a bunch of us saw the video, and thought it'd be pretty creepy to have that frontman watching us while we slept!

:D

On Edit:

TALKING IN YOUR SLEEP
The Romantics

When you close your eyes and go to sleep
And it's down to the sound of a heartbeat
I can hear the things that you're dreaming about
When you open up your heart and the truth comes out

You tell me that yo want me
You tell me that you need me
You tell me that you love me
And I know that I'm right
Cuz I hear it in the night

I hear the secrets that you keep
When you're talking in your sleep

When I hold you in my arms at night
Don't you know you're
Sleeping in the spotlight
And all of your dreams
That you keep inside
You're tellin me the secrets
That you just can't hide

When you close your eyes
And you fall asleep
Everything about you is a mystery

8. Along the same theme.....
This one's better (and not an earworm):

If You Talk in Your Sleep

I know you're a lonely woman and I love you
But someone else is waiting and he owns you
If he should ever wake up, make sure that your story is straight love
If you talk in your sleep don't mention my name
And if you walk in your sleep forget where you came

Walking every night here in the shadows
So afraid that sometime he may follow
There's always the chance he'll find us
I don't need to remind you
If you talk in your sleep don't mention my name
If you walk in your sleep forget where you came

Love is so much sweeter when it's borrowed
I'll feel a little easier tomorrow
Don't give our secret away, be careful what you say
If you talk in your sleep don't mention my name
If you walk in your sleep forget where you came

Forget where you came, now
Forget where you came
Don't mention my name
Don't mention my name
Forget where you came
