1. What's happening tomorrow?
Oh, wait, the elections. Almost forgot.

No, it's not wrong. I'm a bit wired myself!

11. Damn!
I used my last Taco Belle coupon to roll a joint.

I hear that if John Kerry's elected, he'll ban Tacos and force us to eat French food instead.

2. I'm nervous as hell now.
I've put on this big show of confidence.

But now I'm scared as hell, to be honest.

3. Some will scold you for expressing that aloud here..
but to me, that's like scolding someone for being human. Like scolding someone for being concerned about the human race's fate.

So, in my humble opinion, no. It ain't wrong. Just don't let it consume you.

7. No. I think if you aren't nervous, you're fooling yourself.
I do feel more confident in a Kerry win than I did in 2000 about Gore, but I haven't fully convinced myself that all the polls are wrong. I'm hoping everyone will vote tomorrow, but I'm a little afraid too about real long lines. How many will become discouraged and not be willing to wait 2+ hours?

8. I don't think so
Especially since we're at the point now where we can't do much but wait. And as the song says, the waiting is the hardest part.

9. it's only wrong if it translates to INACTION
Look -- every great ball player will tell you he's nervous/hyped up before a big game.

Every trial attorney will tell you she's nervous right as she stands up to make her argument.

Every opera singer will tell you that he has butterflies as the curtain rises.

It's a part of life. The difference is -- what you DO with the nervousness !!

imho

12. NO - but make sure you vote
And if you are in a Battleground state, look around at the polling place for freepers trying to prevent votes.
If you see something strange, report it.

14. I'm all tied in knots.
But I'm going to an Election Protection meeting this evening, and tomorrow I'll be volunteering as a poll monitor. This wll help keep me from going nuts from all the stress and worry and crap from polls and pundits. Last night I actually had a nightmare about Bush winning; it even woke me up. The good thing is that I never, ever have prophetic dreams -- only anxiety dreams. So I don't take it as any kind of omen, just evidence of my obsession. I will be so damn glad when this is over. I do believe Kerry will win, but I can't calm down until I know for sure.

18. Well, I'm nervous
Our country is at a crossroads with a major decision to make tomarrow. I am hoping that enough other people join me in making the right one. This is a major thing that will probably affect all of our lives. Sorry, if I made you more nervous.
