How do you clean a tie?
I'm wearing a South Park tie I haven't worn in ages, and I noticed that the stains are not part of the design. Is there some sort of method or specific product for cleaning ties?

4. Try to find a dry cleaner who's good with ties,
preferably having them try to spot clean it where the stains are rather than clean the whole thing.

Every tie I have dry cleaned loses its shape and ability to drape nicely shortly thereafter. I've nearly reached the point where, upon finding a tie I really like, I'd buy two.
