I just saw "The Grudge"
and am now scared shitless...My god I scare easily.

One lady had her face covered the entire time. I dropped my popcorn all over the place.

1. I don't scare easy, but I do like "horror" films sometimes :)
I just watched the Dawn of the Dead remake last night. Fun stuff :)

2. My daughter (19) saw it last night..said about the same thing as you.
It was freakin GOOD!
(As in scariest she's seen)
She mentioned some part about a cat hissing...

She said it was everything and ten times more than what she's heard about it..Rated it a ten+ on the scare factor...

I don't think I'll see it though.

3. yeah, I saw that opening night. Big mistake.
There were women literally screaming at the top of there lungs. Most of the audience laughed half the way through it. Not because it was funny, but because they were scared nervous.

I made the same mistake with Blair Witch.

6. Second time I actually saw an adult get up and run out of a theater.
First time was during The Ring.

And the similarities between the two are obvious. Which doesn't help The Grudge a lot, almost a rip off.

And the other thing about the movie I didn't really care for was the nature of the scares. It was mostly "don't go in the attic. DON'T GO IN THE ATTIC! OH MY GOD THERE WAS SOMETHING IN THE ATTIC!" type scares, and not as much atmosphere as The Ring.

That stuckup bitch isn't getting a dime from me...she wanted to be a big movie star so badly she couldn't even be bothered to come back and do one freaking episode of Angel even though it was the last hurrah for the Buffyverse. Fuck her and the horse she rode in on.

</bitter Buffy fan>
