Empty seats sit in the union on the campus of Ohio State University where Jenna and Barbara Bush were due to speak while campaigning for their father, President Bush, in Columbus, Ohio on Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2004. Several rows of the empty seats were removed before the daughters arrived.

I GO TO OHIO STATE; AND I NEVER HEARD ABOUT THIS. Not the event, not anything. Nothing in our school newspaper (which admittedly is liberal), no flyers, no chalking on the sidewalks, not any of the stuff that we in the Students For Kerry and College Dems have been doing. And to top it off, Kerry will be here thursday with bruce springsteen, and there were flyers under every door in the dorms, ads in the paper, chalking, flyers taped up around campus, total saturation. I love it

you should click through the rest of the pictures (click start). It looks like they rounded everyone up and tried to make it look like a crowd. A crowd of one deep but a crowd.

On the upside, the Bush twins had probably thrown back a few on their way there so they were seeing double or triple the crowd that was actually there.
