You can buy it on Amazon. And Amazon has a non-porn policy. Adult? Yes. Porn? no. There is a difference.

6. I'm a romantic
And I'm gonna get real obscure here. . .

There's a 1960 flick which is not very good, called "The Unforgiven" (no relation to the later movie) starring Audrey Hepburn and Burt Lancaster. The whole thing is ho-hum, Western, blah-blah. But there's one scene where there's a group hug and amidst that group hug, Lancaster leans down and kisses Hepburn, with the rest of the group unaware. I find it really hot, but then I always had a thing for Lancaster.

Another one that NO ONE will mention, and again I'm showing my romantic side. In The King And I, right before the polka, Yul Brynner puts out his hand, sharply, before placing it around Deborah Kerr's waist. Gets me every time.

Okay, I'm weird. (And I love old movies)

17. Shirley Maclean masturbating in Being There
The incest in Spanking the Monkey is uncomfortably hot. And in Murmur of the Heart.

And speaking of David O. Russell (I think that's his name), there's a very sexy scene when Ben Stiller and Tia Leone (I think that's her name) get tangled in the home of the first "parent" Stiller goes to visit.

19. Bound & Bodyheat

From the moment Jennifer Tilly began seducing Gina Gershon, that movie was hot, hot, hot! The absolute sexiest, hottest seduction since "Bodyheat".

It's not the sex scenes themselves that are really hot, it's the tension, the tease of the seduction that ramps up the heat. It's what's missing from porn, which is why it's mostly boring as hell. It's also why, in real life it's such a thrill to have a new lover. The flirtation that becomes seduction; the sexual tension; the anticipation. "Bound' and "Bodyheat" showed that better than any movie I can think of

24. Depends on how you define "porn"
Edited on Sat Sep-13-03 07:40 AM by wyldwolf
Rated X (or NC-17?) No.
male frontal nudity? No.
Penetration shot? No.

How DO you define porn?

Maybe because it wasn't made by a major film studio? Seems to me the sex in it is no more or less graphic then some of the others listed on this thread.

And I've seen (and reviewed) hundreds of movies.

This one isn't porn as defined by the movie industry. Some may call it "soft core" porn just to classify it as something but how would it be different than any number of movies? I prefer the cable classification "erotica."

And if it were an adaptation of a DH Lawrence book, would it make a difference?

68. Tom in "All the Right Moves" - just a brief scene
Lea Thompson played Lisa, Tom was Stefan

he had to sit out a game - he was up in his room - Lisa, in the HS band, appeared down on the street playing her saxophone

he invites her in

all I know is that the temperature in the theatre must have gone up 100+ degrees about the time he took off his crucifix ... and someone in theatre loudly said: "Surrrre is hot in here".

if you play the scene in slow-mo ... it should become obvious why ... almost subliminal

48. The Year of Living Dangerously
I seem to remember there being a quite steamy-yet-subtle-ish scene between Mel Gibson and Sigourney Weaver in there, or at least it was to my 13 year old mind. I have to admit I've not seen it in years, but the idea of it has stuck in my head since I initally saw it. (It was on HBO and thus I saw it 4.8 million times when it was first shown.) Yeah, Mel Gibson's a repig, but back then he was pretty hot, and an Indonesian backdrop has never hurt when one is striving for "schteamy!". ;)

This is right after Jonathan Pryce's character has finally managed to erase the records of the young woman who is being hunted by the secret police ... effectively she's now "dead".
