Yankees: time to clean house
Giambi, Brown, El Duque, Sturtze, Quantrill, Clark, Sierra and any other overpaid over the hill SOB on that team must go. I still think Vazquez and Loiaza are redeemable. We need to change the philosophy from swing for the fences type baseball to a more balanced type of attack. Torre needs to get off his ass (is he getting complacent) and start managing. You know, putting runners in motion, hit and runs, national league type stuff. I'm so fucking bitter right now. The Sox deserve it, and i will stomach this if it means that its a good sign that Kerry will win.

2. They need to fire Steinbrenner!
This is what happens when you buy a bunch of mercenaries instead of building a team. Unfortunately for Yankee fans, his approach will be (as John Kerry says) MORE OF THE SAME. He'll just try to spend more money.

That team is a disgrace to the game of baseball.

They need to dump:

A-Rod
Torre
Brown
Giambi

The problem is that they're stuck with those guys, because no one wants them. Except for Torre.

4. I know. It was a joke.
Though, they built the nucleus of their championship teams while Steinbrenner was suspended.

There's a lesson there.

7. Stenibrenner has to get over his obsession with winning NOW . . .
in favor of building a team that can win consistently in the future . . . paying absurd salaries to the likes of Kevin Brown and Jose Contraras is just foolish . . . as is trading away virtually every promising player in your farm system . . . of course Cashman gets some of the blame too, but he's basically doing what George wants . . .

but you have to give immense credit to the Sox . . . they earned this victory by playing some of the best baseball I've ever seen . . . I hope they can win the World Series and end this curse nonsense once and for all . . . and make all my friends in New England happy campers . . .
