1. I never realized how much like the cast of a
science fiction novel those names all sound.

(hah, you'll never learn my true name, never never NEVER!)

2. Whatever happened to Dusko Doader?
I'm not sure that's how he spelled his name, but he used to be a fixture on public radio.

14. Lakshmi Singh ...
Always sounded like the name of a Jewish delicacy to me, or a plea by a lisper to be allowed to pursue a career in entertainment, but the lady is I believe of south Asian origin and a babe at that:

22. She always pronounces her name wrong
She says, "LACKshmee" when it SHOULD be "Luhkshmee"

Never understood that. It's not as though one is harder to pronounce than the other.

19. All august names, but...
...Sylvia Poggioli gets my vote. I actually look forward to hearing her sign off for that reason; it makes whatever horrible news she has from Europe sting much less.

Also, I was always fond of Derek McGinty and Ray Suarez say their names on the air.
