I've had pet toads. They are loveable creatures. I've got stories about my little buddies, Toadsies and Bigfatsmalltoad. They went on to that lillypad in the sky but were with me for about 8 years. Toadsies even went through surgery for a tumor on his butt; lived two more years after that. The two of them were a real comedy team, with real personalities.

I always notice, Amurkins "love" animals, as cartoons and marketing shills, but couldn't give a crap about real animals.

Have you seen the calendar that's been coming out the last several years, with babies dressed in animal costumes, with the slogan "please save the endangered animals"? How incredible, when its overpopulation that's endangering the species in the first place.
