The Red Sox Are Still A Better Team Than The Yankees
Yes, I'm a Yankees fan, but I just gotta say that the Sox are still a better team than the Yankees. They've just been pressing too much at the plate, but once they get back home, it's going to be fireworks. This series is destined to go seven, and the Red Sox will emerge triumphant.

The two Yankees win are just an anamoly. Once again, congratulations on a great season Sox fans!

4. Are you setting us up with some low expectations?
I heard a lot of talk from the Kerry campaign about how great a debater Bush was before the debates. How he won against Richardson and Gore. Is this the same type of thing?

Well I don't believe in jinxes, but here you go. There is no way the Red Sox are going to be able to come back after being down 2-0. I look for this series to be a sweep. The Yankees have completely demoralized the Sox.

I caught em doing it right before the ACLS started. Damnit sox fans, you should have done the reverse on the yanks.

13. Not really
The Sox were favored in this series, and I think a lot of Yankee fans honestly thought that the Sox matched up better in a short series.

9. Yankee Fan?????
I guess the 101 games the Yankees won during the regular season were also an anomaly. I am sure that the beating the Yanks gave Schilling in game one was a mirage. I am absolutely convinced that the Yankee win in game two was a miracle and the fact that they lead this series 2 games to nil is some sort of statistical glitch. The Beaners two best pitchers have been beaten, the horse they brought in to beat the Yanks would be on his way to the dog food plant if he indeed was a horse, the Red Sox are faced with the task of winning 4 of the next 5 to advance and you, in the face of some tough odds, think the Bosox are a lock. Good for you, some people refused to believe the Titanic could sink even when the water was up to their knees.

15. Now, Now
We must give the Red Sox fans some respect. They had a really good season, and they played really hard.

11. good teams are disciplined . . .
and know how to win when the pressure's on . . . that defines the Yankees . . . the opposite applies to the Sox . . .

look for the Yanks to take one at Fenway, and return to the Bronx having to win one of two . . . which they will do . . .

but, hey . . . there's always next year . . . :)

And that the series is going 7 games

The Yanks will find a way to win this series once again.

17. You're being too magnanomous.
The Yankees were by far the better team even before the Series began. Shilling was their one ace in the hole: their others pitchers, even Martinez, have their problem pitching to the Yankees. The Yankees hit better in the clutch, have better relief pitching and field better. When it comes to the playoffs, the better team wins.
