I am perusing jobs, not out of necessity - I have one, just not happy. It's truly depressing. I feel my self-esteem dropping.

What's that?

According to the Conservatives, self-esteeem has to be earned. Which means "paid for". Which means unemployed people have to loathe themselves.

good vibes and warm thoughts to the unemployed job-seekers. It wasn't that long ago that I was in exactly their shoes and I hated it. I hate any time of unemployment and job hunting. I'd almost rather deal with a serious illness than that again. I've gone through it twice in the past four years and am so happy to have a great job now, the best I've ever had. And I endured three months of hell before I was offered the position, also.

Job hunting sucks emotionally, it's so draining and the rejections, especially after interviews you thought went well, are so dejecting. Hang in there and try like hell not to get too discouraged, because that will show in your interviews.
