Shrub dated the wife of Winston Groom? (Forrest Gump)

This months Rolling Stone (Great issue BTW=rock stars against Bush, awesome quotes)has an article about Shrubs lost year in Alabama drinking and strutting his way on the Blount campaign. They left out the Texas Souffle' moniker( the female campaign staff called him that), but the article mentions that one of the women he dated was the ex-wife of Winston Groom, author of Forrest Gump. LOL! Now we know where he got the inspiration.
