Did you find out anything about which we shared PM's the other night. I found those people I knew also oddly tight-lipped about it as well.

8. Okay, I'll give you Mozart's vocal stuff, especially
since he's a western composer who actually included basso profundo roles in his operas, thereby giving me something to sing that's not written in Russian - a major plus. But the chamber music & the symphonies? - fizzy, bubbly, and okay to hear live.

For strings chamber music, I love Dvorak almost as much as Corelli. For choir accompanied by pitch pipe, it's Tallis, Gregorio, and Josquin, in no particular order.

For those interested in Mozart...there is always his 'Musical Joke' to liven up gatherings. It is the wild unrepressed Mozart at his best.
