I know that I might be overreacting and I know that I just might
have misspelled overreacting. For that matter, I know that I might just have misspelled misspelled but after today I just have to vent about something: Mozilla

Therefore, may I say with total maliice aforethought that Mozilla sucks. I get home and my son says Mozilla wouldn't load and he had to make up a new user name and now it's running very strangely.

Plus, Ohio State lost this weekend. Oh woe is me of such little faith. Damn, I wish to hell there was a God! Then I could pray and make it better.

1. firefox wouldnt load java no matter how many times i tried
2. it just looked ugly
3. navigating the favorites was a pain in the butt

as for thunderbird email...

4. every time I click on an emailto: hyperlink, my old and worthless outlook express program pops up.
5. I can't seem to change something that I can't remember now.

Screw it. The whole mozilla family sucks. I'm going back to microsoft everything next time I reformat.

4. Firefox works marvelously for me
I'm not sure about the Windows version, but Firefox is a work in progress, with significant changes being made between version bumps. These changes can cause some conflicts when you upgrade to a newer version.

Here on the Linux side it sometimes helps if you delete/rename your config/preferences directory and let it create a new one - just a note in the event that you've upgraded. I generally just copy my bookmarks over to the newly created directory (passwords and whatnot are stored in the system-wide directory and aren't impacted).

Again though, this is on the Linux side, so I don't know if it applies to you.

You have a wide variety of themes available at http://texturizer.net/firefox/themes/

I don't know about the navigation being a "pain in the butt," however, you might try using Bookmarks >> Manage Bookmarks ... in it you will find a search bar that will update the window as you type - then, from the subset of sites matching your search criteria, you can click on a link and it will open in a new window.

3. Well, I believe in God, so I could
do a little praying for you! Although, I have to honestly say that I really don't think that football is one of his priorities right now! :bounce:

8. I never cared for Mozilla much either
Although I used it when that's all there was. Firefox is SOOO much better. It's just a browser. Nothing more. It doesn't try to be an email program or a newsreader or a chat client--I have other great programs that do those things. Firefox is just satisfied to be the best, fastest, most flexible web browser on Earth. It loads super ultra fast and practically never crashes (although seems even that latest version has a few more kinks to work out).

10. here's a browser some other DUers suggested they like better than
mozilla/firefox:

http://www.avantbrowser.com/

From the Site:
"Avant Browser is freeware. That's right. 100% Free! No cost to you ever. No limitations. No Adware. No Spyware. You can donate if you want, but it's certainly not required."

sorry about my first post. I am sorry you had a bad day. Everyone who uses Firefox (like me) has a tendency to cram it up everyone else's ass, because we like it so much. I realise it might not be for you.

I hope you find a better browser for you, and have a better day tomorrow. :hi:
