I fucking hate my fantasy football team.
About to go 0-4 in the DU fantasy league... in 8 years of playing fantasy football, by far MY WORST START EVER.

QBs:
Trent Green (sucks)
Delhomme (sucked this week when I started him over Green)

RBs:
McAllister (gimp)
Dillon (1 TD in 3 games)
Bennett (gimp: hasn't played yet this season)
Dunn (a rare bright spot)
Stecker (screwed me yesterday against ARI-FUCKING-ZONA?)
S. Jackson (sharing time with Faulk)
Leonard Henry (desperate last-gasp waiver wire pickup)

WRs:
S. Moss (0 TDs yet? wtf?)
Rod Smith (not bad... if he were my THIRD WR.)
Chambers (gimp AND playing in a Miami offense that's far, far worse than I ever imagined)
Kennison (gimp)

TE:
Dallas Clark (0 receptions in past two weeks)

K:
Carney (anemic New Orleans offense may give him a lot of work)

DEF:
St. Louis (whatever.)

I hate them.

2. I feel your pain, my friend.
I'm 1-3 and heading nowhere fast.

Just a quick recap of my season so far:

Week 1 - lost Charles Rogers to injury
Week 2 - lost Deuce McAllister to injury; Cedrick Wilson (desperation fill-in for one week) declared inactive 1/2 hour before kickoff
Week 3 - no one injured; I win (yay)
Week 4 - Favre goes down with injury, misses half the game

I'm already planning for next year's draft.
*sigh*

6. You and your friends select players from real NFL teams...
...to build fantasy teams. Their real-world performance each week then translates to fantasy points for your team.

If you "own" Brett Favre on your team, and he throws a touchdown pass in a game, your fantasy team is credited with a touchdown.

Different milestones are awarded a certain number of points. For instance, a touchdown may be worth 6 points, each 20 yards rushed or received is worth 1 point, a fumble is a 2-point penalty... etc.

Each week, you pit your team against one of your friends'. Highest total score wins.

A typical starting lineup contains 1 QB, 2 RBs, 3 WRs, 1 TE, 1 kicker, and 1 team defense (i.e., you own the entire defensive squad of an NFL team- when they intercept a pass or sack a quarterback, your fantasy team gets points).

It's part skill, part research, and a good amount of dumb luck. If the injury bug bites, it doesn't matter how well-prepared you are.

4. I'm about to go 4-0.
Because I do my homework. :D

I'll take Dunn off your hands if you can take one of my WR's?

Minnesota running back Michael Bennett will miss at least two more games after undergoing arthroscopic surgery Monday to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee.

Bennett, who hasn't played since spraining the knee in an Aug. 27 exhibition game, reinjured the knee in his first fully padded practice Thursday when he was hit by rookie linebacker Dontarrious Thomas.

The injury was expected to push back his season debut until Oct. 24 against Tennessee.

I FUCKING HATE MY TEAM. REALLY, REALLY, REALLY HATE THEM.
