3. Kerry Is Truly Amazing

He sometimes comes across as too reserved, until you really see him. I was at the event in Orlando yesterday (Saturday) and he hugged Charity Thompson, the Iraqi War Veteran he helped get what she needed from the VA. He truly cares about people, not just as an academic or political problem, but as individuals. And the funny thing is, he doesn't talk about it a lot - the people he helps, I mean.

4. It's true

When I saw him in August I was lucky enough to get to speak with him briefly. What was so dramatic was not his personality - all politicians have strong personalities - it was his warmth and humanity that stood out.

He's a remarkable human being. I think even some of the Repubs would agree if they'd stop worshipping their Chimp-god and give Kerry ten seconds.
