Cubs Choke - Poll
i'm not a donor, because I'm cheap, and just getting over 3 1/2 months of unemployment...so we have to do it this way, unless some kind soul will do a REAL poll for me and link back here...

What do y'all think is the most memorable Cubs choke??

1969 choke to Mets?

2003 choke to Marlins?

2004 choke on WC run, losing 6 of 7, including being swept by the lowly Cincinnati Reds?

For me, I'm still undecided...as a die-hard 'Stros fan, '04 may be the most memorable for me, becausde, a month ago, they were getting out the body bags for us...and now we have a chance to win our first pennant! If that happens, '04 will have that special place in my heart.

Otherwise, it goes to '03...because of the spectacular way in which they managed to choke...two outs from a pennant...thank you forever, Steve Bartman!!

'04 is the beginning of a new curse for the choking Cubs...this one is not the curse of the Billy Goat...this is the Curse Of The Exploded Baseball!

LOL!!

Cub fans, that exploded ball will haunt you for all eternity!!

4. Oh, Yeah...
How could I forget '84???
Good ol' Steve Garvey!!
Damn, that was so great because I wasn't prepared to see the cubs win, the year after the Sox lost it to the friggin O's....

I am a native chicagoan, south Sider, so I'm a White sox fan...transplanted to Texas, and so became a 'Stros fan...been since 1985. so I hate the Mets, damn them...and OF COURSE I hate the Cubs...
