1. I love Krispy kremes, but suffer the worst heartburn afterwards.

4. gotta get 'em HOT
one right down the road on Ponce (here in ATL) is frequently on my list of detours! Nothing better than a HOT Krispy Kreme...looks like another detour today!

15. oooh! sorry
i meant the donuts are fatty! I just went to a nutritionist on Friday about a bunch of GI woes (not heartburn though) and fat, sugar and salt seem to be the root of all evil, dietarily speaking, at *a certain age*

who doesn't care for Krispy Kreme. Too sweet. I'll have to go with Dunkin' Donuts, though Tim Hortons by far has the best coffee (had it for the first time last month-yum!).

8. Tim Horton's does have great tasting coffee.
But I repeat about their donuts...they taste no different than Krispy Kreme or Dunkin Donuts or Winchell's. They all taste the same.

They all taste the same. Krispy Kreme has an undeserved reputation.

6. My "Other" vote would go to Mac's Donuts in Ambridge, PA
They operate out of an old Quaker State station. Tastiest donuts I ever had.

11. Krispy Kreme is ridiculously overrated.
Unless you get the free sample right off the assembly line, they're donuts aren't any better then at your average supermarket. Only Krispy Kreme doesn't have as good a selection.

14. There's a big difference between Krispy Kremes
Edited on Tue Sep-28-04 01:49 PM by Dark_Leftist
you buy in the store and a fresh, hot one. I agree with you, the store ones are not that good. I wish we had a House of Tim here in Memphis and a Dunkin Donuts (sp ?) near here as well. I'm not knocking Krispy Kremes though.
