Dubya Vows to Spend What Is Necessary to Win War
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Bush (news - web sites) will say in a speech to the nation on Sunday night that crushing a guerrilla campaign in Iraq (news - web sites) will take time and require sacrifices, and he will vow to spend whatever is necessary for victory.

According to speech excerpts released by the White House, Bush also will say members of the United Nations (news - web sites) "now have an opportunity, and the responsibility, to assume a broader role in assuring that Iraq becomes a free and democratic nation."

Bush, in a speech he will deliver at 8:30 p.m. EDT, will say that recent bombings in Iraq are aimed at forcing the United States to leave the country.

7. Willing to spend excessive amounts on war but
cuts services for working people like aid to go to college. Of course if working-class kids can get government aid to go to college then they would be less likely to join his army and become cannon fodder.

If people are not upset tomorrow at the water cooler then we are in sorry shape as a nation.

Our priorities are incredibly screwed up. Money for war but none for health and education. Money to destroy but none to build.

I cry for my country....and I am angry.

       :puke: :puke:

8. Out of his own pocket? Great! What a relief.
So glad he's finally exercising that "personal responsibility" he's always talking about. I bet if he calls up all his friends and his daddy's friends and all those Carlyle and Halliburton associates they can pay for the whole thing easy and still have something left over for yacht maintenance and docking fees.

Phew--sure glad WE don't have to pay for this stupid boondoggle. It was all his idea anyway.

What? What's that? You mean he wants US to pay for it? No fucking way jose.
