What is your burning desire??
I have to give a talk at a Businessmens Networking lunch today about our business and one of the questions they always ask as part of the introductions is "What is your burning desire?"

Outside of politics, what is your burning desire?

I think I've figured out mine is to learn as much as I can about as many things as I can. To me, a course catalog is like putting a kid in a candy store - right now I'm taking 2 classes online thru our local community college. What is yours???

11. Have you heard about MIT's open classes??
Since you said a course catalog is like a candy store, thought you'd be interested in the fact that MIT is offering like 500 of their classes for free online. Some are better than others--some have just the syllabus and the assignment/quizzes, others have video lectures and sound clips. Obviously you don't turn in the work either. Another DUer clued us in, I think it is the best thing EVER.

My burning desire is to do one thing so extraodinarily well it brings everyone to tears. But then, I'm a megalomaniac.
